Beating the Odd`s

The one thing that unites anyone looking to place a bet on any type of sport is a quest to find a system that beats the odds. Football is no exception and while there might not be such a thing as a no lose soccer bet, there are several ways in which you can turn the odds in any match to your advantage.

The simplest form of football bet involves speculating on the result of any individual match and whether it will end with a win, lose or draw. While the odds on any outcome may not be that tempting, many professional gamblers use this type of bet to keep their cash flow rolling.

If you take a team that wins the vast majority of their games, let`s say for example Manchester United or Chelsea in the English Premiership. When either of these teams are in action, place a bet on them to win the game and if they are successful then you collect.

If however, they draw or lose that particular game, all you need to do next time around is double your stake, making any adjustment for a change in odds and bet again. You just know that sooner or later, the team will win and when they do, you are guaranteed a profit.

There are some things to bear in mind and it`s not recommended for you to bet within six matches of the end of the season as you may run out of games to recoup any losing bets. Similarly, if the sides are playing each other then there is no bet and you wait until the following set of fixtures.

Other than that, the system is essentially fool proof and best of all, you can repeat it in leagues all over the world by selecting the top sides in any country you choose.

Another popular football betting system involves looking at away teams in any fixture weekend and spotting the ones who are odds on to win their games. The plan is that you select three of these sides (often there are only three so the choice is made easier) and you then combine them and place a Trixie bet on all sides to win.

A Trixie consists of seven bets - three singles, three doubles and a triple and if all sides win then you collect handsomely. Even if only two win, you are likely to cover your stake at the very least so this makes it an attractive bet for many professional gamblers.

Clearly this isn`t a fool proof system but statistics have shown that all three teams will triumph more often than not and that over the course of the season, you can make a very tidy profit from this method.

There are other football betting systems but these are two of the most popular. In other markets, you can often beat the odds in any game just with a bit of research into past games and this can be easily done by using newspapers and the internet.

A football bet can usually enhance your enjoyment of any game, whether you`re at a match and maybe staying at
Villa Park hotels or if you`re watching on TV and there are certainly a few systems around that can help you beat the odds...
